First-class hosts with the quality mark “Wanderbares Deutschland“ (Hiker-friendly Germany) are places that offer accommodation and meals for hikers. They comply with the uniform quality criteria of the Deutscher Wanderverband (German Hiking Club), which apply all over Germany, and cater for the specific needs of hikers.
Bicycle-friendly companies
The companies operate according to the quality criteria developed by the ADFC (the German Biking Club) and are tailored to the specific needs of cyclists. The bicycle-friendly companies can be recognised on site by their logo “Bett+Bike”.
Viabono-certified companies
Only companies that work in an environmentally friendly way, that operate measures to protect the environment and nature, and use regional products are entitled to use the the Viabono quality mark. In Viabono certified companies guests can expect high-quality holiday fun in harmony with nature.
Partners with the national parks
„Partner Nationaler Naturlandschaften“ is a federal initiative of Europarc-Deutschland. In the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park this recognition is connected with either Viabono or Eco-Camping certification.
