The Waldecker Land is just about perfect for nordic walking. Long hiking trails through fields and forests allows you to get to know this beautiful and varied holiday region right in the middle of Germany in a sportive way. A complete network of clearly marked trails for hiking and cycling is available, as well as trails that are specially marked for nordic walking.

The Waldecker Land offers you one of the largest unbroken areas for nordic walking in Europe.

The “Nordic Walking Paradise” includes 20 “parks” with nearly 80 trails. Around 600 km marked trails, an extensive range of available courses, qualified trainers and committed partners live up to this name.
