Museums
The variety of scenery, including witness testimony on geology and history, as well as important technical innovations and cultural achievements, plus a glance into everyday life of the past are reflected in the many exhibits and museums in Waldecker Land. Discover these treasures during a visit to one of these museums. The offers include the Christian Daniel Rauch Museum in Bad Arolsen, the Wolfgang Bonhage Museum in Korbach, the Hunting Museum at Friedrichstein Castle in Bad Wildungen, and also the many small but fine village museums with different foci, such as the toy museum in Bad Arolsen-Massenhausen or the Huguenot Room in Burgwald-Wiesenfeld. We are certain that the culturally inclined visitor will be able to discover many interesting aspects into history and present of Waldecker Land.
