This ferry is unique for the whole of Hesse! When there is enough water, the ferry goes back and forth beginning at 09.00 between the dock in Asel-South and the Aselstein at the lake side of Vöhl (Easter to September).

The ferry mostly connects the cycling and hiking trails between Scheid and Rehbach. Passengers can call the ferry by telephone. Single trips cost € 4,00 otherwise € 2,50 for adults, € 1,00 for children. Bicycles are transported for € 1,00.
