2. Notes and Links

For direct or indirect links to outside websites ("Hyperlinks") outside the realm of author’s responsibility, an obligation of liability might occur exclusively in case that author had knowledge of such content and it would have been technically and effort-wise feasible to prevent the use of such illegal content.
Author hereby expressly states that at the time the hyperlink was set, no indications of illegal content of the linked pages was obvious. Author has no influence on current and future design, content or copyright of the linked pages. Therefore, author expressly distances himself from the contents of all linked pages which were modified after the hyperlink had been set. This statement shall apply to all links and references within author’s own internet presence, and also to all outside entries in guest books, discussion forums, and mailing lists established by author. Illegal, erroneous and incomplete contents, and damages resulting from use or non-use of such information provided, shall be the sole responsibility of the provider of such page to which reference was made, not responsibility of the person who simply made a reference to such page by providing a link.
 
3. Copyright and Identification
Marks 
Author shall attempt to comply with all copyright regulations for graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts used in publications, and to use graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts created by author himself, and to make use of graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts not subject to copyright agreements. All trademarks and identification marks mentioned within the internet presence and protected by third party rights, if any, shall, without limitations, be subject to stipulations of the respective registered trademark and copyright agreements of the respective owners. Mere mentioning of a brand name shall not imply that such brand is not subject to rights of third parties. The copyright for published objects created by author himself shall remain with author of such pages. Duplication or use of such graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts in other electronic or print publications shall not be permitted without express consent by author.

4. Data Privacy 

Inasmuch as an internet presence offers the opportunity of providing personal or business data (email addresses, names, addresses), the release of such information on part of the user shall be entirely voluntary. Use of and payment for any services offered shall be, if technically and effort-wise possible, permitted even without providing such data or by using anonymous data or pseudonyms. The use of contact data provided as part of imprint or similar information, such as mailing addresses, telephone or fax numbers, and email addresses, by third parties for transmitting unsolicited information shall not be permitted. Author expressly reserves the right to take legal steps against senders of so-called spam mails upon violation of this provision.

5. Legal Effectiveness of Liability Exclusion 

This exclusion of liability shall be considered part of the internet presence which made reference to this page. Inasmuch as parts or individual formulations of this text do not correspond to current law, in full or in parts thereof, now or in the past, the other portions of the document shall remain in effect in terms of content and validity.
