Boat trips on the Edersee
The company ‘Personenschifffahrt Edersee’ is a family enterprise with 30 years of experience in the boat trip industry. Since 1993, it has been operating two modern passenger ships, the ‘Stern von Waldeck’ (built in 1993 for 540 persons) and the ‘Edersee Star’ (built in 2001 for 700 persons).
On both ships, the catering consists of hot meals, delicious cakes and pies, cold and hot beverages and a rich assortment of ice-cream. The ships are heated and equipped with restrooms for disabled persons that are accessible for wheelchair users as well.
All berths are designed for convenient access with wheelchairs.
The season extends from April to October (good weather provided, even from March).During the main season – from the beginning of May to the beginning of October – there are scheduled daily trips. On weekdays, cruises take place based on demand and on reservations for groups of 30 passengers and more.During the season, 1 evening trip with music and dancing takes place.The two modern passenger ships are also available for on-demand trips, special trips, conferences, company parties, weddings, family celebrations, etc.
