Explore the Diemelsee from the water!
During the one-hour cruise, you will get to know all the different sides of the beautiful reservoir: the lively activity on the beach in Helminghausen with its children’s playground and the new large bathing pier, the forests reaching down to the shore and a swamp area with a large variety of waterfowl.
Enjoy the lake and the sun on the boat’s sun deck. Let yourself be pampered by the crew of the MS Muffert while they show you the unique experience of the scenery of the Diemelsee reservoir.
Daily boat trips are conducted from Easter to the end of October from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Upon request, special trips and evening cruises may be booked as well.
The on-board kitchen offers meals and beverages, as well as cake and ice-cream.
Boarding is possible at all berths, the start and end points are identical. The boat harbor is located at the large parking area; the ferry boat crosses the lake to the beach in Heringhausen.
