The Ettelsberg Cable Car
The mountain experience directly at the front door!
On the edge of the World Cup site, one of the most modern cable cars in Germany will take you up to the top of the 838 m high Ettelsberg in comfortable panorama cars.
Arriving at the top, the innkeeper Siggi will greet you at the rustic Ettelsberghütte with his ‘sling trumpet’, alphorn and burning ‘Hüttengeist’. Let yourself be surprised!
Right next door you will find Lake Ettelsberg, the new landscape playground, as well as the ‘Kyrill Trail’ in the midst of a beautiful highland heath landscape with multiple hiking and walking opportunities!
Destinations such as the Mühlenkopf Ski Jump, the ‘Rothaarsteig’, the paragliding starting place and many other may easily be reached from the mountain station.
Opening hours: open year round daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free (bus) parking directly at the valley station of the cable car!
