Korbach invites you to the largest party of the year!
Korbach once again looks forward to its ‘festival of festivals’. As in years past, 2023 will offer a great variety of events on the festival mile between the Nikolaikirche and the Kilianskirche. There is something for everyone – what exactly can you expect at the ‘Old Town Cultural Festival’ in Korbach?
Event stages will be set up at the Weindorf, on the Obermarkt, in front of the town hall, in front of the Museum as well as near the open air stage.
Various bands will whip guests into a good mood to enjoy the party fun. Besides the rock, pop, ‘schlager’ (sentimental German pop), blues, folk or even melodic power metal played in past years, there were cabaret and comedy performances as well.
Of course, the physical well-being is not neglected either: from the popular bratwurst to the specialties of the gourmet fair on the Obermarkt, there is something for everyone. Booths with products from various crafts, sweets, street musicians and many other attractions along the festival mile invite visitors to take a stroll and/or to linger.
