The ‘Burgwald’ Region
The ‘Burgwald’ is comprised of 20,000 hectares of forest areas and is among the largest in Hesse. For tourists, the Burgwald (its elevation ranging between 250 and 400 m) is a hiker’s paradise as its nature begins right outside the front door.
